DESCRIPTION:Live\, Love\, Latch! is a National Breastfeeding Month celebration presented by La Leche League USA and hosted by LLL Groups throughout the country. \nDid you know that New Hamsphire’s last active legislation to protect working mothers who chose to breastfeed was 22 years ago? At a recent World Health assembly\, the United States sided with formula companies making an unprecedented statement to the World that could make serious impacts on mothers and their biological right to breastfeed. \n\nJoin White Mountain La Leche League on August 5th to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week at our 3rd Annual Live\, Love\, Latch Family Beach Party!to show our community that New Hampshire stands with breastfeeding individuals! Your presence is crucial in showing our young families that we stand alongside them in giving their babies the best start to life that they can. You do not have to be a parent or have breastfed to be involved. Every person that joins us matters and the impact that your attendance makes is great. The party will last from 10-3 at Leavitt Park Beach in Meredith. SUMMARY:PAD Barn Clean Out
DESCRIPTION:This is an urgent request for help! We have learned that Janet Doner has put her house in Campton on the market\, and with it the lovely barn that Janet and her late husband Jules so generously opened up to PAD to store our campaign and candidate signs.  We will hold a Cleanout Event to sort and remove the signs and frames from her barn.  Signs for current candidates will be saved\, along with any “H” frames that can be re-used.  Everything else will go to the Plymouth recycling center. We need two pickup trucks to help with the work.  Volunteers should bring gloves\, flashlights and filter masks because of the dust.
