SUMMARY:5th Annual Granny D Memorial Walk 2018
DESCRIPTION:Doris “Granny D” Haddock is fondly remembered for her epic 3\,200-mile cross-country walk at age 90 to support campaign finance reform. This annual walk reminds us her commitment to fair and open elections and encourages us all to carry on her work. \nPlease join us for a 6-mile supported walk from Dublin to Peterborough in Granny D’s honor! \nWalkers will gather at the corner of Cobb Meadow Rd. and E. Harrisville Rd. in Dublin\, near Granny D’s home.\nThe walk will end in downtown Peterborough for a Community Celebration complete with lunch\, free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream\, speakers and entertainment.\n\nCar poolers are needed to leave from the Plymouth area at 7:00 am for this event. DESCRIPTION:Location to TBA – if you can help with a NH march\, please email marchfortruth@gmail.com \nWe call for a #MarchForTruth on Saturday\, June 3rd to raise our voices and let our elected leaders know that Americans want answers. The legitimacy of our democracy is more important than the interests of any party\, or any President. So\, we will rise together to call for a fair and impartial investigation\, for the pursuit of truth\, and for the restoration of faith in our electoral system and the Office of the Presidency. \nAcross the country\, peaceful demonstrations will be arranged on Saturday\, June 3rd. Our goals are simple: \n\nA special prosecutor must be named\, an independent commission must be established\, and Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests;\nAs much information should be made available to the public as possible\, and as soon as possible;\nCongress should require Donald Trump to release his tax returns to clarify his business interests and obligations to any foreign entity;\nIf crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered\, it must be prosecuted.\n\nWe need your help.\nWe are asking on cities and communities around the country to organize. \nWe are looking for volunteers to help secure permits\, find speakers\, and take care of the logistics to make this peaceful assembly matter. \nEmail marchfortruth@gmail.com for more
