At a recent World Health assembly\, the United States sided with formula companies making an unprecedented statement to the World that could make serious impacts on mothers and their biological right to breastfeed. \n\nJoin White Mountain La Leche League on August 5th to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week at our 3rd Annual Live\, Love\, Latch Family Beach Party!to show our community that New Hampshire stands with breastfeeding individuals! Your presence is crucial in showing our young families that we stand alongside them in giving their babies the best start to life that they can. You do not have to be a parent or have breastfed to be involved. Every person that joins us matters and the impact that your attendance makes is great. The party will last from 10-3 at Leavitt Park Beach in Meredith. DESCRIPTION:Given the immigration checkpoints conducted by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) that happened this year and the 4 more that we can expect to happen\, we want everybody to be aware of what their rights are in these situations\, how to exercise their rights\, and get some practice in doing so. \nCome to this free event to get trained up on your rights and get some of your questions answered! We’ll also have space for sign making and community building. \nThe event will be at the American Friends Service Committee office at 4 Park Street #304 in Concord NH. Street parking is available and there are parking garages nearby.

The legitimacy of our democracy is more important than the interests of any party\, or any President. So\, we will rise together to call for a fair and impartial investigation\, for the pursuit of truth\, and for the restoration of faith in our electoral system and the Office of the Presidency. \nAcross the country\, peaceful demonstrations will be arranged on Saturday\, June 3rd. Our goals are simple: \n\nA special prosecutor must be named\, an independent commission must be established\, and Congressional investigations should be properly resourced and pursued free of partisan interests;\nAs much information should be made available to the public as possible\, and as soon as possible;\nCongress should require Donald Trump to release his tax returns to clarify his business interests and obligations to any foreign entity;\nIf crimes were committed or if collusion is discovered\, it must be prosecuted.\n\nWe need your help.\nWe are asking on cities and communities around the country to organize. \nWe are looking for volunteers to help secure permits\, find speakers\, and take care of the logistics to make this peaceful assembly matter. \nEmail marchfortruth@gmail.com for more
