2020 promises to be fiery and exciting so what better way to kick off the year than with our 1st Annual GREAT BOWLS OF FIRE Chili Cookoff Fundraiser!
This special event will be on Saturday, January 18 at the Plymouth Senior Center at 8 Depot Street in Plymouth, NH. Event begins at 6 p.m.
Whether you’re a chili-master or just love to cook, bring it! Come and compete with your favorite chili recipe for fabulous 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, including the (soon-to-be-coveted) grand prize Golden Eagle trophy! If you love to eat but hate to cook, come join us for some great food, fun, and conversation, and vote for your own favorite(s).
We are excited to welcome some very special “political” celebrity judges and other notable figures.
Tickets are just $20 (kids under 8 are free), or upgrade and compete to show off your culinary expertise by entering the cookoff for $25. Help us make our 1st annual Chili Cook-off a smashing fundraising success and show your support for our local candidates all while having a great time!

CONTEST RULES
$25.00 Registration fee includes: Event & contest entry and a beverage
- Contestants must pre-register; no walk-ups will be accepted for contest judgment.
- Contestants must sign-in at the registration upon arrival. Chili drop-off: 5:00 – 5:30 p.m. at the side kitchen entrance of the Plymouth Senior Center
- Chili must be prepared in advance and be hot entry in a crock pot or instant pot (anything that can be plugged in).
- PAD will provide ladles and serving utensils. Chili must be hot upon arrival. Please note, no heat up cold chili.
- Contestants must prepare between 3-5 quarts of chili.
- All ingredients are OK to use, no restrictions. If you are using ingredients people may be allergic to, please let a staff member know so it can be posted at your station.
- PAD will provide common condiments such as: oyster crackers, shredded cheese, diced onions and sour cream.
- Eating utensils such as bowls, spoons and napkins will be provided.
- Specialty condiments/toppings are NOT allowed for judging. Eg: No corn bread, sour cream, etc… There is no room on the tables for extra condiments/toppings/sides etc.
- Staff members will prepare the chili cup serving for judging. Runners will receive the cup and serve it to the judges.
- Judge’s backs will face the serving stations to keep contestants anonymous. No signage, handouts, recipe cards are to be displayed or provided to any of the judges.
- Contestants are responsible for the clean-up of their station
- Event staff will dispose of left over items after the close of the event
