Meet the Plymouth Area Democrats Executive Board
Joyce Weston
Chair
Joyce joined PAD in 2004, when she and her wife moved to Plymouth from Boston. As free-lance book designer working from home, she found the newly-formed group of active Democrats a great way to meet like-minded friends. She became PAD chair in 2014 and served two terms, at which time she ran for the NH House of Representatives, serving on the Commerce Committee. After two terms in the House, she choose not to run for a third. In 2023, she was honored to be elected again as Chair of PAD, but will be stepping down for good at our board elections in 2026 as the bylaws require.
Katie Hedberg

A graduate of Cornell University, Bill Nesheim spent his professional career in the IT industry, leading R&D teams at Sun Microsystems and Oracle Corporation until retiring. A life-long Democrat, Bill has been a full time resident of Holderness since 2019 after living for 32 years in Windham NH. Bill & his wife Melanie have two children and two grandchildren who all live in New Hampshire. Bill enjoys hiking, skiing, boating and flying small airplanes and is an active volunteer for the AMC, the Squam Lakes Association and the Lakes Region Search and Rescue team. Bill currently serves on the Holderness Planning Board and Conservation Commission.
Jessica Quinn
Secretary
Jessica joined the Campton community ten years ago when she and her young family bought a house nearer to their teaching jobs. As an English teacher, Jessica has always taught American Literature and thus much American history. This continually stoked a flame of civic awareness, and now that her children are a bit older, she eagerly joins in civic engagement with PAD.
