Joyce Craig
Governor

Home: Manchester, NH
Education: MBA, Whittemore School of Business and Economics (now the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics).
Experience: Mayor of Manchester (2017–present); Joyce was the first woman elected mayor of Manchester and the first Democrat elected since 2005. As the city's chief executive, she has attracted hundreds of millions of dollars in economic development, reduced violent crime by 38%, invested in public schools, and supported the creation of over 2,000 housing units.
On the issues:
Joyce understands the challenges that communities face and has the experience to solve them.
 
Joyce has won tough elections and knows that in order to make progress on the issues we care about most, we need to win back the Governor’s office.

Maggie Goodlander
US House of Representatives

Home: Nashua, NH
Education: Yale University, Yale Law School
Experience: Ms. Goodlander has served as a White House adviser, a deputy assistant attorney general in the Justice Department's antitrust division, a foreign policy adviser in the Senate and an intelligence officer in the Navy Reserve. She has also been a U.S. Supreme Court clerk.

Emmett Soldati
Executive Council, District 1

Home: Somersworth, NH
Education: York University, Toronto (summa cum laude) and Masters in Cultural Studies from London School of Economics (2011).
Experience: Soldati founded Teatotaller while also working for Weather Analytics (now Athenium Analytics), a DC-based firm with a large work force in Dover. He helped found and run Farmers First Africa, to support climate knowledge and food security in Central Africa. During COVID, Soldati supported small business owners with resources to navigate emergency shelter-at-home orders. In 2024, he made headlines for successfully defeating Meta Inc. (Facebook) in court, pro se.
On the issues:
Emmett will prioritize Main Street Economy, having a strong track record battling against the corrupting influence of big corporations. He supports opiod recovery and addressing the housing affordability crisis. He will fight for reproductive and healthcare freedoms, having co-founded the Tri-City Reproductive Justice 4 All Coalitioe. Emmett is a staunch advocate for public schools and is committed to helping secure equitable public education for all Granite Staters.

Karen Liot Hill
Executive Council, District 2

Home: Lebanon, NH
Education: Dartmouth College (2000)
Experience: Karen is currently the longest-serving member of the Lebanon City Council, Liot Hill was first elected in 2005. She served as Lebanon’s mayor from 2008-2009 — a position elected internally by the City Council — and has concurrently served as Grafton County Treasurer since 2017.
On the issues:
Karen is running for Executive Council because it has an extremely important role in NH in terms of exercising oversight and accountability on behalf of taxpayers.
Karen's priorities include championing reproductive freedom and access to healthcare, affordable housing and childcare for working families, ensuring our state has a strong public school system (including supporting career and technical schools), helping lead efforts to fight against climate change (from clean energy to fleet conversion, building out the state’s EV charging infrastructure), and modernizing public infrastructure.

Rusty Talbot
NH Senate, District 1

Home: Sugar Hill, NH
Education: Dartmouth College
Experience: Rusty is a small business owner and dedicated public servant seeking to represent New Hampshire’s North Country. In 2014, he founded the North Country Climbing Center—the only commercial indoor climbing gym serving Northern NH. Rusty is also a member of the Sugar Hill Fire Department, the Captain of the Pemi Valley Search and Rescue Team, and President of the Littleton Rotary Club Charitable Fund.
On the issues:
Embracing the independence and freedoms that North Country residents cherish. Rusty is running to help improve the lives of its residents by taking action on critical community needs. These include things like housing, childcare, and safeguarding the natural resources that underpin the North Country economy. He is dedicated to finding solutions on which everyone can agree, rather than dwelling on divisive issues, knowing this can help a lot of people.

Carlos Cardona
NH Senate District 2

Home: Laconia, NH

Experience: Carlos has served as the chairman of the Laconia Democrats and has worked as the production director for a New Hampshire-based telemarketing firm. He is a fierce political advocate for LGBTQ and minority rights. Last year, a Washington Post article highlighted his “startling political power”, having received national recognition against all odds. He is hoping that NH voters are ready to get behind him.
On the issues: Carlos is an ardent supporter of minority and diversity rights and supporting the needs of vulnerable people.

Jolene T. Farmer

Experience: I am a former small business owner, a community volunteer, and I currently work as a small business advocate, helping other small business owners get their start. As someone who was once a registered Republican, then an independent, and is now running as a Democrat, I’ve been able to build relationships in all corners of the community, allowing opportunities for conversation regardless of party affiliation.

On the issues:
As a mom in Orford, my priorities revolve around preparing Grafton 6 for the next generation. I decided to run for office because I believe that our district deserves leaders who represent our interests and fight for basic values: education, housing, reproductive rights, environment protection, and compassion. The job of a representative is to improve the lives of constituents, and make the district a better place to grow up and grow old, and that is what I’ll fight for in Concord.

Janet Lucas

Experience: Janet practiced and taught Obstetrics and Gynecology for 37 years in two community hospital systems in Columbus, OH. She served on various hospital committees and chaired the department of OBGYN when the residency program merged with Ohio State University. Janet moved to Campton, NH in 2019 to be nearer family and friends. She now enjoys serving on the Campton Conservation Commission and ZBA and is also one of the Campton representatives on PRLAC (Pemi. River Local Advisory Committee).
Foundational beliefs:
1) A good representative is a respectful listener to every constituent.
2) Whatever can be done to serve the best interests of our community I will do to the best of my ability.
3) I will uphold the following values:
  A) There is nothing more important than our representative democracy and each individual’s right to vote and participate safely and free from harassment.
  B) Women’s Reproductive Rights are Human Rights and must be guaranteed by codification in the New Hampshire State Constitution.
  C) Our natural environment must be protected in order for Campton to thrive and sustainably grow into a community that supports year-round affordable living.
  D) Public Money should support Public Education.

She would also fight to pass gun laws that make NH safer for students, the police and everyone; protect a woman’s right to make her own reproductive decisions; protect LGBTQ rights; increase funding for the University System (UNH, PSU, KSC).; protect our state's scenic beauty and recreational resources; and address the local needs of our three towns.
