SUZANNE SMITH
GRAFTON 8
Hebron, Holderness, Plymouth
I’m Suzanne Smith. I live in Hebron and serve the towns of Plymouth, Hebron, and Holderness in the New Hampshire House.
For the past 8 years, I have served on the Resources, Recreation, and Development Committee and most recently I have served as chair. The Resources Committee studies and votes on legislation related to water quality issues (drinking, groundwater, surface waters), shoreland protection, recreational boating, recreational trails (hiking, OHRV, snowmobile), conservation lands, state parks, and forestry.
Locally, I serve as co-chair of the Hebron Conservation Commission.
Globally, I serve on the Board of Homeopaths Without Borders (HWB) as Treasurer. Through HWB I have traveled to Haiti, volunteered at a clinic for the underserved, and served as a mentor to new Haitian homeopaths.
Prior to being elected to the NH House, I owned and operated a successful natural food market/bakery/deli for 20 years. Since then, I have also operated an wholistic nutrition and homeopathy consulting practice.
If re-elected I’ll continue to work to create equal opportunities for all of New Hampshire’s families. Where the quality of your child’s education, your health care options, and your access to high-speed internet and cell phone service are not dependent on your zip code.
New Hampshire is a great place to live, work, play, and raise a family, but we can do better.
