Josh was born in Lebanon, New Hampshire in 1995, and grew up in the Newfound Area, graduating from Newfound Regional High School in 2013, attending Plymouth State University, before joining the United States Marine Corps. First elected in 2018 on a campaign promising action on high property taxes and unequal education funding, Representative Adjutant helped secure the largest investment in state aid to education in New Hampshire in 3 decades. As a member of the Veterans Affairs Committee, Representatives Adjutant helped ensure the restructuring of the state’s veterans benefits program wouldn’t mean a decrease in services to those who served.
